Kong Yai in the Gulf of Thailand is a reliable spot for a relaxed dive. We’ve seen healthy hard corals here, and it's common to find lionfish tucked into crevices or a hawksbill turtle cruising by. The currents are generally mild, making it a good choice for newer divers looking to build confidence or anyone wanting an easygoing afternoon underwater. Expect decent visibility, usually around 10-15 meters.
