RUAM CHOK PORNTAWEE - Gulf of Thailand
The Ruam Chok Porntawee, a 40-metre fishing vessel, sits upright at 56 metres in the Gulf. Her blue-green hull is mostly intact, offering some interesting penetration points for those with the right training and gear. We’ve found her to be a great spot for advanced wreck divers looking for something a bit deeper than the typical Koh Tao wrecks, though the visibility can swing quite a bit. Look for resident groupers sheltering in the holds and often a big school of barracuda circling overhead. It’s a serious dive, but a rewarding one.
