Ao Wong Duen is a sheltered bay on Koh Tao’s west side, an easy spot for newer divers. The maximum depth here is 14 metres, making it ideal for skills practice or relaxed buoyancy work. We often see blue-spotted rays resting on the sand patches and juvenile snapper schooling around the scattered coral bommies. It’s a good choice when you want a calm, straightforward dive.
