With 54+ marine species recorded in the area - including sea turtles, tiger sharks and pufferfish - Ao Yui offers some of Koh Tao's richest reef diving. Water ranges 28-31°C, warmest April, May, June.
Ao Yui sits off Koh Tao's west coast, a shallow dive spot at just 14 metres deep. It’s perfect for beginners and those looking for a relaxed, easy dive. You’ll find a sandy bottom with a smattering of corals and small rocky outcrops, often hosting groups of fusiliers and rabbitfish. It’s a good place for macro spotting, too, if you take your time.
