Aqualung, just off Koh Tao, is a pretty straightforward dive, good for shaking off the rust or for those newer to diving. We usually find it’s a calm spot, with mild currents making for an easy drift along the sandy patches and scattered rock formations. You’ll see plenty of the usual reef residents – parrotfish munching on coral, schools of silver demoiselles darting about, and often a few curious wrasse checking you out. It's not a site that's going to blow your mind, but it’s a pleasant way to spend an hour underwater, particularly if you’re keen on spotting the smaller stuff like a brown-banded pipefish or a spotty blenny hiding in the nooks. It’s ideal for multi-day courses or just getting some relaxed bottom time in.
