With 54+ marine species recorded in the area - including sea turtles, tiger sharks and pufferfish - Ko Rin offers some of Koh Tao's richest reef diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, June.
Ko Rin, off Koh Tao, is a good spot for a relaxed dive. The main feature is a small pinnacle that drops to around 18 meters, surrounded by a sandy bottom. You'll often find schools of yellowtail barracuda circling the rock, and blue-spotted stingrays are common in the sand. It’s a gentle site, perfect for newer divers or those looking for a calm afternoon submersion.
