With 54+ marine species recorded in the area - including sea turtles, tiger sharks and pufferfish - Koh Rang offers some of Koh Tao's richest diving. Water ranges 29-31°C, warmest April, May, June.
Koh Rang offers a relaxed dive with a good mix of hard and soft corals. We often see schools of yellowtail barracuda hanging out in the blue, and there are always plenty of butterflyfish and parrotfish munching on the reef. It's a comfortable spot for newer divers looking for an easy drift, or for experienced divers just wanting a chilled-out afternoon.
