Koh Bon, North Reef - Similan Islands

Koh Bon’s North Reef is a solid choice when you’re looking for a relaxed dive in the Similans. It’s not the most dramatic wall, but the gentle slope offers plenty to explore, especially for newer divers. We often find leopard sharks resting on the sandy patches around 18-20 metres, and there’s always a good chance of seeing mantas cruising past the main pinnacle if the current is right. Keep an eye out for colourful nudibranchs on the coral bommies; they’re often overlooked but well worth a closer look. It’s an easy-going dive, perfect for getting comfortable with the local conditions.
