Batfish Bend - Similan Islands

Batfish Bend, on the western side of Similan Island number nine, is exactly what it says on the tin. Large schools of batfish, sometimes in the hundreds, hang out here, swirling around the granite boulders. It’s a pretty straightforward dive, perfect for photographers wanting to capture those iconic schooling shots. Just watch for currents that can pick up along the bend, making it more challenging for newer divers.
