Koh Tachai, Ao Yai - Similan Islands

Ao Yai, on the eastern side of Koh Tachai, is a pretty straightforward dive, especially for those just starting out in the Similans. We often see giant trevally patrolling the deeper sandy patches, and if you keep an eye on the smaller bommies, you'll likely spot some moray eels tucked away. The site depth maxes out around 21m, making it comfortable for beginners to spend some decent bottom time. It's a relaxed spot, good for getting your buoyancy dialed in without too much current to worry about.
