Racha Noi, North Point - Similan Islands

Racha Noi's North Point is one of those spots that often gets overlooked, but it’s a perfectly decent entry-level dive. We’re talking a maximum depth of 17 metres, making it ideal for those just getting comfortable underwater or anyone looking for a relaxed single tank. You’ll find a mix of hard and soft corals here, nothing extraordinary, but plenty of smaller reef fish flitting about – damselfish, butterflyfish, and the occasional parrotfish munching away. Keep an eye out for blue-spotted rays resting on the sand patches between the coral bommies. It’s a gentle drift on most days, making for an easy, pleasant dive rather than a heart-pounding adventure.
