RTN Kled Gaeow (Wreck) - Similan Islands

RTN Kled Gaeow is a newer addition to the Similan wreck scene, deliberately sunk to create a new artificial reef. Sitting upright at 26 metres, it's a pretty intact vessel, still recognizable as a patrol boat. You can swim through the bridge, exploring the various compartments. We've seen some good-sized groupers here, sheltering in the hull, and the deck is starting to attract schools of snappers. It's a comfortable dive for intermediate divers looking for something a bit different from the usual Similan granite boulders. A welcome change of scenery.
