SEA CHART 1 - Similan Islands

Sea Chart 1, resting upright at 33 metres, is a merchant vessel that found its final resting place in the Similans. We find it a bit of a moody dive, often with a slight chill in the water around the wreck itself. It’s been down there long enough now that nature has really started to reclaim it, with schools of snappers and barracuda using the hull for shelter. You can spend a good chunk of bottom time exploring the deck and superstructure, watching for lionfish tucked into crevices. This one is best for those comfortable with deeper dives and a current that can sometimes pick up a bit.
