SHINAGAWA MARU - Nha Trang

Dropping down to the Shinagawa Maru, you hit the bow first, sitting upright at 37 metres. This old dredge, sunk in '67, isn't a massive warship, but it’s a proper wreck dive, not just some scattered debris. We usually explore the holds, which are open enough for comfortable penetration, and we’ve found some decent-sized groupers holed up inside. The hull is a habitat now, encrusted with colourful sponges and soft corals, attracting schools of snappers and fusiliers. It's a solid dive for experienced wreck enthusiasts looking for something beyond a reef, just be mindful of your bottom time at that depth.
