Viet Thuan 168 - Nha Trang
The Viet Thuan 168 is a wreck we always recommend for divers looking for something a bit different in Nha Trang. It’s not a deep dive, sitting at a maximum of 9m, so you get plenty of bottom time to explore the cargo hold and superstructure. We love how light filters in through the open spaces, illuminating the schools of glassfish that swirl around the rusted metal. This wreck feels truly alive, completely colonised by the reef. Look closely and you’ll spot scorpionfish camouflaged on the deck, and we've often seen lionfish patrolling the edges of the cargo bay. It’s a great site for photographers, especially with that soft morning light. The Viet Thuan 168 is a relatively safe wreck, but do keep an eye on your buoyancy, particularly if you venture inside. It’s a perfect spot for newer wreck divers or those who just want a relaxed dive with plenty to see.
