With 147+ marine species recorded in the area - including dugongs, eagle rays, great white sharks, humpback whales and manta rays - Passe de Gie offers some of Isle of Pines's richest drift diving.
Passe de Gie delivers a drift dive experience, best suited for those comfortable with moving water. You'll often find yourself gliding past schools of pelagic fish, sometimes barracuda and reef sharks. It's a straightforward dive, less about intricate coral and more about the flow and the bigger visitors. We'd suggest it for divers who enjoy a relaxed current ride.
Safety Notes
Drift dive - carry a surface marker buoy (SMB) and stay with your group. Brief the current direction before entry.
