With 367+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and nurse sharks - Breakers Reef offers some of Abaco's richest reef diving. Water ranges 24-30°C, warmest July, August, September.
Breakers Reef is a gentle dive, perfect for newer divers. The main reef sits at 20 meters, a consistent depth that allows plenty of bottom time. We've seen plenty of smaller reef fish here, parrotfish and snapper mostly, along with the occasional moray eel peering from a crevice. It’s a solid, easy dive when you’re looking for something relaxed in Abaco.
