Flower Garden
Why dive here
With 367+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and nurse sharks - Flower Garden offers some of Abaco's richest reef diving. Water ranges 24-30°C, warmest July, August, September.
Flower Garden, off Great Guana Cay, is a good spot for newer divers, maxing out at 19 metres. The bottom here is a mix of scattered coral heads and sand patches, with plenty of smaller reef fish darting around. We often see snapper, grunts, and the occasional parrotfish grazing the algae. It’s a relaxed dive, great for getting comfortable in the water.
