Stuart Cove’s Shark Arena - Andros

Stuart Cove’s Shark Arena sits off Andros, a 17-meter dive that’s pretty straightforward for most divers. You’re essentially dropping into an amphitheater setup where Caribbean reef sharks gather, sometimes quite a few of them. It’s a dedicated shark encounter, and while it might not be for everyone, if you want to see these sharks up close in a relatively controlled environment, this is it. Visibility here is usually decent, making for some good photo opportunities, especially if you’re looking to get a solid shot of a reef shark swimming past. We’d say it’s a good introduction to shark diving for those who are just starting out.
