Cay Sal Island - Bimini
Tanu Rock is a pretty typical Alaskan shore dive, offering a solid slice of the local temperate water experience. The rocky substrate here is home to a surprising number of invertebrates, like sunflower stars and those big green sea urchins, which we always enjoy spotting amongst the giant kelp. You’ll also likely see a few different salmon species, depending on the season, and sometimes we’ve been lucky enough to spot schools of Pacific herring moving through. It's a reliable dive for getting a feel for the region’s cooler waters.
