Moomba Beach - Curaçao Southeast

Préyebère Anemone Garden is a shallow, relaxed dive, perfect for a gentle afternoon or even a check-out dive if you’re fresh to Mauritius. We like to drift it slowly, letting the mild current carry us along the wall face. At its heart, you’ll find the anemone garden that gives the site its name, a bustling patch where clownfish dart and wave. It’s an easy dive, peaking at about 20 metres, so you get plenty of bottom time to really soak it in. Look for the honeycomb groupers tucked into crevices, their spots looking like abstract art. We’ve often spotted eagle rays cruising by in the blue, though they're not always around. Keep an eye out for the cleaner mimic blennies, tiny striped fish that look like juvenile cleaner wrasse. Visibility typically sits around 18 metres, giving you a clear view of the reef's subtle beauty. It’s a great spot for macro enthusiasts, too; the anemones themselves hide all sorts of small critters if you take the time to look. For divers who appreciate the quieter moments of a reef, and those who love watching the intricate dance between anemones and their residents, this spot is a winner. It’s also an ideal site for newer divers looking for confidence in a pleasant, low-stress environment.
