RUTHY - Bayahibe & La Romana
Ruthy lies just a stone’s throw from shore, a 50-meter motor vessel that came to rest on the rocks back in '88. With a maximum depth of 2 meters, it's less of a dive and more of a snorkel or a leisurely, shallow skin-dive. You’ll find the wreck broken into sections, scattered across the rocky bottom, with some parts completely exposed at the surface. It’s an interesting spot for spotting juvenile fish, particularly around the more intact sections that offer a bit of shelter. Visibility can be a bit variable depending on the day, but it’s an easy, relaxed exploration, perfect for a quick dip after a boat trip.
