St. George (Wreck) - Punta Cana
Dropping onto the St. George, you immediately get a sense of its scale. This 73-meter cargo ship, deliberately sunk in 1999, now rests upright at 33 meters, making it a proper deep dive. We like to explore the cargo holds, which are quite open and easy to penetrate for those with wreck experience, often finding schools of jacks swirling inside. Look closely along the deck for scorpionfish camouflaged against the rust, and barracuda often hang out in the blue just off the bow. It’s a solid intermediate wreck dive, giving you plenty to explore without being overly challenging.
