Five Rocks - Sosua & Puerto Plata
Five Rocks is a good stop for spotting some of the smaller, shyer reef inhabitants in Sosua. We’ve often found fringed filefish hovering near the rocky outcrops and spotted mushroom scorpionfish blending into the seabed. It’s a shallower site, making it a relaxed dive for newer divers or those who enjoy taking their time to seek out camouflaged creatures. Expect to see plenty of slender parrotfish grazing the algae.
