Epave Augustin Fresnel (Wreck) - Cousteau Reserve
The Augustin Fresnel is an old buoy tender, sunk intentionally at 31 metres within the Cousteau Reserve. She sits upright and mostly intact, providing easy penetration for trained wreck divers into the wheelhouse and engine room. Expect to see plenty of schooling snapper and grunts around the superstructure, with barracuda often hanging out mid-water. It’s a good, straightforward wreck dive for those with some experience looking to spend 20-30 minutes exploring a solid artificial reef.
