With 331+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales and manta rays - Epave du Gustavia (Wreck) offers some of Cousteau Reserve's richest wreck diving. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest August, September, October.
The Gustavia wreck sits upright at 36 metres, a cargo ship sunk intentionally in 1987. We've found plenty of schooling fish swirling around the mast and superstructure. Entry points allow for quick penetration, but the real draw is the exterior, now well-colonised with barracuda and grouper. It’s a good, straightforward deep wreck dive for those comfortable with the depth.
