With 493+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, bull sharks, dolphins and eagle rays - Lana's Cove offers some of Fajardo & East Coast's richest reef diving. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest August, September, October.
Lana's Cove, off Puerto Rico's eastern coast, is a really gentle introduction to Caribbean diving. Dropping to a max of 12 meters, it's pretty perfect for those just getting their fins wet or if you're looking for a relaxed single tank afternoon. You'll find a decent coral reef here, with a good chance of spotting juvenile snapper darting among the brain corals and the occasional parrotfish grazing. We'd suggest it for divers who appreciate calm conditions and a chance to truly take it easy.
