With 493+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, blacktip reef sharks, bull sharks, dolphins and eagle rays - The Ledges offers some of Fajardo & East Coast's richest diving. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest August, September, October.
The Ledges, off Fajardo’s east coast, gives newer divers a solid introduction to Caribbean reef diving. It's shallow, topping out at 11 metres, which means plenty of bottom time and lots of light reaching the corals. We often see a good mix of juvenile reef fish here – angelfish, parrotfish, and wrasse are usually darting around. For those getting their sea legs, or just wanting a relaxed afternoon dive, it’s a dependable choice.
