Sandals Dive Center - St.Lucia - Anse La Raye
The team at Sandals Dive Center – St. Lucia are pros, pure and simple. We’ve found they run a slick operation, which is exactly what you want when you’re on holiday and just want to dive without any fuss. They’re a PADI 5 Star IDC Resort, which means serious training if you’re looking to go pro, but also a solid foundation for recreational dives. We love that they make it easy: gear’s always laid out, the boats are well-maintained, and the guides know their stuff. Our favourite part about diving with them out of Anse La Raye is the direct access to some cracking sites. Think about the wall at Anse Cochon, dropping from about 10 metres down to 30, often with turtles just cruising by. Or the wreck of the Lesleen M, sitting upright at 20 metres, which is a great place to spot lionfish and moray eels peeking out from the superstructure. We’d suggest trying to get on an early boat; the visibility tends to be crisper before the afternoon thermals kick in, and you might beat some of the crowds. They really excel at making your dive day feel effortless, from kitting up to the post-dive debrief.
