Hol Chan Cut - Ambergris Caye
Hol Chan Cut, just off Ambergris Caye, is a lively spot. It’s a natural channel, maybe 5 to 15 meters deep, carving through the reef, and it acts like a marine highway. We’ve seen a lot here, from schooling snapper and doctorfish to the resident green turtles gliding past. The highlight, though, is often the nurse sharks and rays that frequent the channel, cruising with a casual indifference. It’s a fantastic dive for newer divers or anyone who appreciates a vibrant, relatively shallow reef with plenty to observe.
