With 192+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, dolphins, lemon sharks, nurse sharks and sea turtles - Paradise Canyon offers some of Ambergris Caye's richest diving. Water ranges 27-31°C, warmest August, September, October.
Paradise Canyon, just off Ambergris Caye, gives you a chance to navigate some interesting swim-throughs and explore deeper cuts in the reef. We’ve seen nurse sharks resting in the sand and green moray eels tucked into crevices. It's a solid choice for intermediate divers looking for more than a simple wall dive, with depths often reaching around 20-25 meters. Visibility is usually good here, making it easy to appreciate the coral formations.
