Santa Rita Canyons

Santa Rita Canyons offers a series of narrow cuts and swim-throughs carved into the reef, a different feel from many Belize sites. We often see nurse sharks resting in the sandy channels and a good variety of reef fish darting between the coral walls. It’s a shallower dive, generally 10-15 meters, making it a good choice for newer divers or those looking for longer bottom times. We find it’s best enjoyed with a slow drift, letting the mild currents guide you through the formations.
