With 213+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, dolphins, eagle rays, nurse sharks and sea turtles - Coco Point offers some of Lighthouse Reef's richest reef diving. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest August, September, October.
Coco Point, on the eastern side of Lighthouse Reef, offers a relaxed drift dive. We often see reef sharks patrolling the drop-off here, alongside schools of horse-eye jacks. It’s a good spot for divers who enjoy a gentle current and prefer watching larger pelagics rather than seeking out tiny critters. We'd suggest this for anyone looking for an easy, classic Belize wall dive.
