With 213+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, dolphins, eagle rays, nurse sharks and sea turtles - Turtle Ridge offers some of Lighthouse Reef's richest diving. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest August, September, October.
Turtle Ridge offers a relaxed drift over a sloping reef, good for those who prefer a gentle dive. We typically see hawksbill and green sea turtles here, often resting on the sponges or cruising by. It’s a pretty easygoing spot, decent for less experienced divers or anyone wanting a chill dive with a high chance of turtle encounters. Visibility usually holds up well, making for pleasant viewing.
