Amethyst Rock isn't your typical tropical drift. Here, the water is cool, dark, and feels wonderfully wild. You’ll be exploring rocky slopes, often draped in kelp, where giant green anemones bloom in surprising splashes of color. Keep an eye out for the lurking spiny dogfish and the scuttling Dungeness crabs, often a bit bigger than you expect. It's a dive for those who appreciate robust, cold-water ecosystems and a true sense of northern wilderness underwater.
