Punta Ballena offers straightforward diving on Costa Rica’s Caribbean coast, primarily a reef slope dotted with sponges and stony corals. We've often spotted green moray eels here, tucked into the rock crevices, along with schools of snapper. It’s a good spot for those looking for a relaxed dive without strong currents, suitable for newer divers building their confidence. Visibility can be a bit variable, but on a good day, it holds steady around 10-15 meters.
