Shark Fin Rock - Cocos Island
Shark Fin Rock is exactly what it sounds like – a significant rock formation jutting out of the Cocos Island waters. We often find schooling hammerheads here, especially early in the morning when they're still moving in tight formations. Keep an eye on the blue for Galapagos sharks too; they frequent this area. It's a deep dive, best for experienced divers comfortable with varying currents and negative entries.
