Why dive here
With 168+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, orcas, sea turtles, whale sharks and pufferfish - The Odyssey offers some of Roatán's richest diving. Water ranges 27-30°C, warmest August, September, October.
The Odyssey is a Roatán dive that generally sees less traffic than some of its neighbours. You’ll find a mix of reef sharks, turtles, and the usual Caribbean suspects cruising the wall here. Currents can pick up, so it's a spot that’s best suited for divers comfortable with a bit of a drift. We typically see it as a good option when other sites are crowded.
