Tobri Divers - Roatán

Tobri Divers isn’t always on the main dive shop circuit, and that’s part of its charm. We love the quiet drift along this wall, letting the gentle current do the work as you keep an eye out for the smaller, more unusual residents. It’s a site where patience pays off; while the schooling snapper might catch your eye, the real stars are often hiding in plain sight. We’ve found some incredible stuff here: peppermint bass darting amongst the blue crust coral, banded jawfish eyeing you from their burrows, and if you’re lucky, a saddle stargazer peeking out from the sand. Keep an eye on the little crevices for mimic blennies, and we’ve spotted Caribbean reef squid more than once here, too. The wall itself is textured and interesting, not just a flat drop-off. We’d suggest going in the late morning when the sun angle really brings out the colours on the wall, making those rust-coloured gobies and cave bass pop. This spot is perfect for divers who appreciate macro life and a relaxed pace, without the bustle of Roatán’s more popular sites.
