Lark Rock - Corn Islands
Begg Reef, while a reef in name, is actually a freshwater site in Québec, offering a unique opportunity to spot cold-water species. We’ve found good numbers of Slimy Sculpin, Mottled Sculpin, and Nine-spined Stickleback tucked among the rocks. It’s a site for divers keen on observing fish behaviour in a less common environment, perhaps those with a specific interest in freshwater ecosystems. Don’t expect vibrant corals, but rather the quiet intrigue of an inland dive.
