With 382+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, eagle rays, giant moray eels, humpback whales and sperm whales - Black Wall offers some of Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef's richest wall diving.
The Black Wall on Kadavu offers a dramatic vertical drop, disappearing into the depths. We’ve seen healthy soft corals clinging to the darker sections, with occasional reef sharks patrolling the perimeter. It’s a good spot for divers who appreciate dramatic topography and don’t need an abundance of schooling fish to enjoy a dive. Be prepared for some current, as is common in this area.
