With 382+ marine species recorded in the area - including blue sharks, eagle rays, giant moray eels, humpback whales and sperm whales - Kioa Reefs offers some of Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef's richest reef diving.
Kioa Reefs offers a solid dive through a series of coral bommies and fringing reef patches. We often see reef sharks patrolling the edges and a decent variety of smaller reef fish darting through the corals. It's a relaxed site, good for an easy second dive or for newer divers looking to build confidence without strong currents.
