The BISTRO - Shark Dive AQUATREK - Kadavu & Great Astrolabe Reef

If you’re keen to see sharks up close in Fiji, The Bistro on Kadavu’s Great Astrolabe Reef is a solid choice. Aquatrek runs these dives, and they’ve got a system down: you descend to about 20 meters, position yourself behind a low coral wall, and wait for the show. We’ve seen plenty of grey reef sharks here, often whaler sharks too, cruising in the current. It’s a pretty easy dive, suitable for beginners comfortable with a bit of action, and it definitely delivers on the shark front without being overly intense.
