Why dive here
With 182+ marine species recorded in the area - including barracuda, lionfish, mandarin fish, napoleon wrasse and nautiluses - Peleliu Cut offers some of Rock Islands's richest channel diving. Water ranges 29-30°C, warmest June, October, November.
Peleliu Cut is a drift dive, often with strong currents pulling you through the channel. We’ve seen grey reef sharks patrolling the drop-offs and schools of barracuda hanging in the blue. Keep an eye out for larger pelagics moving through here too. It’s a site best suited for experienced divers comfortable with current.
