They’re a PADI 5 Star IDC centre, which means they’re at the top of their game for instructor development, but it also translates into exceptionally thorough training for every course they offer. We love that their focus is so heavily on solid foundational skills and responsible diving, rather than just ticking boxes. We’ve spent a fair bit of time diving Izu’s rocky reefs, and honestly, having a centre like Season guiding you makes all the difference. Their local knowledge is encyclopaedic. They know exactly when the current will pick up at places like Izu Oceanic Park, or where to find the banded pipefish hiding in the soft corals near Futo. We’d suggest hitting them up for an advanced course, or if you’re looking to really polish your buoyancy and navigation. They run a tight ship, but with a warm, personal touch that makes you feel instantly part of their dive family.
