Kawana - Izu Peninsula
Kawana is a shallow site on the Izu Peninsula, generally topping out around 10 meters, which makes it a good spot for newer divers or those looking for a relaxed dive. The main draw here is usually the smaller critters – think nudibranchs, gobies, and blennies tucked into the rocky reef. We’ve found it’s a good place for macro photographers to slow down and really look closely. It’s not a site for big pelagics, but if you enjoy searching out the smaller details, Kawana delivers.
