Koganezaki - Izu Peninsula
Koganezaki, on the Izu Peninsula, is a good spot for newer divers, with a shallow maximum depth of 14 metres. Entry is straightforward, usually off a small beach. You'll find plenty of smaller critters tucked into the rocks and sand, like blennies and gobies, along with colourful nudibranchs. It's a relaxed dive, ideal for getting comfortable in Japanese waters.
