Sunabe Water Treatment Plants - Okinawa Main Island

Sunabe Water Treatment Plants, often just called "The Seawall," is a great spot for an easy shore dive on Okinawa. You're looking at a maximum depth of around 14 meters, making it ideal for newer divers or those who just want a relaxed day. The entry is simple, straight off the seawall steps, and once you're in, you’ll find a sandy bottom transitioning to small rock formations and coral patches. Keep an eye out for nudibranchs, often in surprising numbers, and we've seen plenty of clownfish tucked into anemones here. It’s a solid choice for a casual dive, especially if you want to dial back the strong currents found elsewhere on the island.
