Farol is a dive where divers can encounter dolphins, dwarf minke whales, humpback whales, ocean sunfish (mola mola) and orcas. Water ranges 22-28°C, warmest August, September, October.
Farol, off the coast of Sal, is a relaxed dive that works well as a second or third dive of the day. You’ll typically find schooling grunts and goatfish, often with a few moray eels peeking out from the rocky crevices. It’s a good spot for newer divers or those looking for an easy drift.
