Ponta Preta - Sal

Ponta Preta is a straightforward dive off Sal’s west coast, often a good backup when other sites are too rough. Expect a gradual slope down to around 18-20 meters, with scattered boulders and sandy patches. We’ve seen plenty of trumpetfish here, moray eels in the crevices, and sometimes schools of juvenile barracuda. It’s a relaxed dive, good for newer divers or those looking for a chilled-out afternoon exploring the quieter parts of the reef.
